Haven't done much lately other than practice with Quo, and fart around with the family. I have been looking towards a new project once I get any extra cash, which means no time soon. I built my little speaker cabinet, now I think I will build me a drum set.
It really won't be as hard as it sounds, cause I am just going to order some blank shells. I don't have the tools or the skill to do that, nor the time to learn them. Just as a little pre-pricing goes, it will probably cost me at least $1k to do. That only includes 3 toms and the bass drum with all hardware and heads. I plan on using my existing cymbals and stands.
I still need to finish Evan's guitar I started, which is a rebuild of a little cheap guitar I have had sitting around since high school. Evan picked out the colors, and we collaborated on the design. It came out pretty good. I need ti find some knobs for it, and yes, the neck plate is missing. I am guessing it went with some other junker guitar I got rid of a long time ago.
And now to the title of this post. April 12th is my birthday. What am I doing, you might ask. I will be, well, see the flyer below and you will know.
