This used to be my favorite shirt in the early 90's. I don't know what
ever happened to it, but I bet some bitchy idiot girl who
thought she knew what was best for me got rid of it. Oh well,
at least this picture is a good laugh for all. Some people may see this
as the me that knew, and others will look and say "that was you?".
I think my strange pose in the picture is because I am on my skateboard. That is the only time I would have my hand where it is when I am moving. Sorry, I can't explain the pink ball, it must be fashion related, I'm sure.

Like most people, I have been busy. Having fun at work and home, and
with the family. I am slowly currently working on a
couple of projects.
Project #1 : Allen Falkner Residence : 2nd Story Deck Addition.
This
one is located in Dallas in a very compact neighborhood. His lot is one
of the few ones where the house is set back from the road. Everyone else
is about 5' from the road. Here is the idea for this one:
I am currently drawing up the elevations and plans for this. The beam across the front will be a 16x31 W-shape with 5"x5" supporting columns. I haven't heard back from the local distributor of an aluminum handrail system with glass insert panels for the guardrail.
Project #2 : Residence in Breckenridge, Tx.
A friend and I are
designing a house for his in-laws. It is going to be a prairie style
with a local stone veneer and standing seam roof. I don't have an image
of the elevation sketch I have done, but here
is a pdf of it.
While doing these, I am also in the process of setting up my CAD layering system. I haven't had a real reason to do it until now, so it sort of slows down progress on the projects. I have them all figured out other than line weights, and just putting them into the template.

Actually, I was going to post an image of the house I am designing, but I haven't got the image on my computer yet, It is on my work computer - oops.
Anyway, Dead Rustic Dog has asked me to com up with some art for the demo (I think) CD they are putting together. I have been listening to the Butthole Surfers lately, so my idea is a mix of drumhead art mixed with some inspiration from Gary Floyd. I'll let you (or whoever) be the judge.
