A theory

I have a theory that older (+40) white women are the rudest people to encounter. My theory is partly based on daily observation, and also just be annoyed.

There is one lady that rides the same train as I do in the morning. She sits in the same spot, and her bags ride in the seat next to her. She has never offered to move her bags to let people sit down that may be standing cause all the seats are taken. Sorry lady, but that is rude unless you are buying your crap a ticket. I don't care how old you are, you don't get to do what ever just because you are old.

There was another rude woman encounter at lunch time. Some lady at Subway left after getting her sandwich. A younger woman was leaving right behind her. The older white lady opened the door just enough to get through, and let it slam in the face of the person behind her. I wanted to rip the bluetooth off of her ear and crap on it.

And finally, on the way home there was yet another old white bitty. This one had 2 or 3 bags and was taken up the whole seat while chatting on her phone the whole time. People talking on the phone while on the train just annoys me, especially if they are in the seat in front of me. At one stop, there were about +10 people standing, and she just kept chatting away not showing anyone any courtesy Another woman did come up and make her move her stuff so she could sit down. That put a smile on my face, but when she got up the lady put her crap back in the seat.

Some people are so oblivious that they are such fodder.

Not in a jail house way

Today was fun. I got rear ended today by a Nissan Xterra. I stopped in a right turn lane, and the person behind me hit me going about 10-15 MPH. Evan and Kuper were in the car with me. Everyone is fine, even the other people in the Xterra.

The first thing I was asked by the guy getting out of the car was if the police needed to be involved. He seemed relieved when I said no. He apparently had something to fear. I am just glad it wasn't him driving by that comment alone. He told me the lady driving messed up her ankle yesterday and had a problem braking. She seemed to walk over to my car just fine, but what do I know.

We exchanged insurance. Now I have to call hers in the morning, cause they were closed on Sunday. I was surprised I only got a little hole in my bumper from the hit. I was actually expecting more. Hopefully I don't wake up with a stiff back or anything. I just want to get my car fixed, and not have to fix myself.

Someone likes Bon J.., I mean Richie Sambora

I find it odd that someone would actually get a vanity plate that should belong to someone else. But who am I to judge, cause I would probably get a Zappa one. Of course, Zappa kicks Sambora's ass from the grave.

LEED revisited

Took my test today, and passed it. Got 183 out of 200 points. Only 170 points are required to pass. Now it is time to sit back and chill. Well, no, got to go start laundry.

LEED

I am currently studying to take the LEED NC test. It is required by my firm as part of employment. I was supposed to have it done within 6 months, but that did not happen. Luckily, there are a lot of people that haven't taken it who have been there longer than me. I just figured I need to take it before they update the reference manual.

I have been trying to update the photo blog at least every week or few days. More than this blog. I have briefly thought about turning the whole site into just a photo blog, but who knows.

I did get my new Epiphone SG replaced, so I am happy about that. I took it over to a friend's house to set it up properly. I have even composed a couple of tunes on it, and started refining others that hopefully I can record soon.

studioMDK:photoBlog

I guess I should "officially" announce the new aspect to my blog, and that is obviously the studioMDK:photoBlog. The link is directly under the counter, and yes I added a link back to here from the photoblog. I might actually update that more than this, but who knows. I have a camera phone, so it makes it a little easier to take pictures when I want.

Enjoy!
